At Generator Power, we’re always looking to grow and improve our team to ensure we continue delivering excellent service for our clients. Chris Bates, joins us as a Sales Engineer, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the team. In his words, get to know a little bit more about Chris and what his role is at Generator Power.
From labouring to industrial cleaning, I’ve worked a variety of jobs since leaving school. But it was 2011 when I first started to work in the tool hire industry. I joined my elder brother at a busy national small tools depot based in Guilford.
Fast forward nine years, I’ve now got four years of generator hire, sales and operational experience in West London. With extensive knowledge of the region, in my new role at Generator Power, I will be responsible for West London and covering the surrounding areas all the way down to Brighton and Dorset.
I’m really enjoying working with Generator Power’s office based operational teams, with their detailed planning and excellent organisation, I have the freedom and flexibility to get on the road and connect with our customers, build relationships and convert new sales opportunities.
I truly believe that Generator Power offers the best service in our industry. And that’s why I’m extremely confident in approaching all of our existing and potential customers, knowing that we are perfectly suited to support all of their temporary power requirements.
Although I’ve only been at Generator Power for a short amount of time, I’ve certainly learnt a lot already. I’m keen to continue building my technical knowledge by working closely with our highly experienced and expert team.
Outside of work, I try to spend as much quality time as possible with my one year old son. To relax, I enjoy running, cooking and watching sports like football and boxing.
I’m extremely happy to have joined Generator Power, and I’m really looking forward to working closely with my colleagues and our customers.
