The Challenge
The Blair Atholl Jamborette brings together over 1000 Explorer Scouts and Leaders from all over the world for a 10-day camp in Perthshire.
The jamborette consists of a main camp site with a cafe, a series of marquees and six sub camps, so the site was not short on amenities that required temporary power.
The Solution
We supplied our high specification, fuel efficient QAS 60 generators, distribution units and cables to power the tented village at Blair Atholl.
To enable easy delivery and collection, and to ensure that our customer could access electricity wherever they needed it, we provided them with towable generators which could be repositioned or moved to different areas of the site as required.
“Just a little note to say thanks for the use of the generators for the Blair Atholl Jamborette 2018. This two-yearly event can’t happen without the kind generosity of companies like your own. Every member of your staff was great to deal with, particularly Helen, Kyle, Willie and Andy.”
