The Challenge
The science block at the University of York is home to the groundbreaking research facilities of a host of scientific organisations. So when this large campus underwent an upgrade, loss of power wasn’t an option.
The Solution
We provided, managed and refuelled a multi-megawatt power package, consisting of two 1000kVA generators and one 1250kVA generator.
We made sure a dedicated project manager was on-site for 48 hours after the installation and provided a ‘Welfare van’, which gave 24-hour support should any issues have arisen.
As the generators were in a public area, we also sorted out security fencing to keep them secure.
