Hire Desk Controller
Normanton
Hours:
- 8 hour days
- Shift pattern Tuesday to Saturday OR Sunday to Thursday
- Varied start and finish times between 7am and 7pm
- Permanent
Main Duties:
- Responsible for smooth running of Key Accounts and/or General Orders.
- Ensure all on/off hire orders are taken in detail and processed correctly.
- Create, input and ensure accuracy of orders onto the company InspHire system to minimise account queries and potential credits.
- Produce and maintain a manual complete contract file, containing all relevant paperwork including signed delivery and collection notes.
- Advise Transport Department of any necessary movements within a timely manner.
- Ensure relevant spreadsheets (as applicable) are updated daily/weekly and any concerns are brought to the attention of your Line Manager.
- Answer all incoming calls within 3 rings in a polite and professional manner as trained.
- Ensure own individual knowledge is enhanced by constantly aiming to learn/improve and taking on board training as necessary.
- Achieve all targets and KPI’s that are set for individuals/Administration team
- Create, post invoices to Sage daily, from various run code reports as specified and update Line Manager.
- Check daily all off hires due from awaiting off hire report and update Line Manager of progress if there are any delays.
Requirements:
Attention to detail and a good telephone manner are essential attributes. Customer service is an advantage but not essential. Previous hire desk experience would also be beneficial, but not required as full hire desk training will be given.

- Refueling Generators
- Ensure the workshops and yard areas are swept on a daily basis
- Maintaining the tidiness of the workshop and yard areas
- Preparation and storage of cables
- Washing of Generators, Equipment
- Liaise with Storeman on yard requirements
Qualifications and Skills required:
-Driving license
- 4x4
- Trailer
- Light goods vehicle
- Fork Lift Truck Licence (Desired but training can be provided)
- Lifting operations / Equipment

HGV Driver with Trackway experience
Wetherby
Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week - 8am to 5pm

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Load and unload Vehicles.
- Operate forklift truck.
- Deliver Generators and ancillaries to site and collect Generators and ancillaries from site (all industry sectors such as hospitals, construction, power grids and festivals)
- Assist engineers on site.
- Refueling Generators on site and in dept.
- Carry out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy.
- Installation and dismantle of Generators on customer sites.
Qualifications and Skills required:
- Trackway experience (1 year)
- Class 1 (Essential)
- Class 2 (Desirable)
- Driver Qualification Card
- Fork Lift Truck Licence (Desired but training can be provided)

Electrician
Normanton / Stevenage / Reading
Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week - 8am to 5pm

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Working with 10KVA -1250KVA Generators
- Working safely with voltages from 230V – 690V
- Primarily field based
- Fault location, diagnosis and rectification to hire fleet and customers equipment.
- Preparation of equipment for hire.
- Completion and submission of all company paperwork as per procedure.
- Safeguard all Company assets.
- Knowledge of electrical legislation
Qualifications and Education required:
- High school or equivalent.
- 18th Edition
- ECS Gold Card
- To be qualified to City and Guilds 2330/2360 level 2&3 (or equivalent) and NVQ level 3 and have a working knowledge

4 on 4 off Night Engineer
Bowburn
4 days on 4 days off - 48 hour work week (44 paid) - 7pm to 8am

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Depot Work, preparing Generators for hire.
- Load and unload Vehicles.
- Operate forklift truck.
- Deliver Generators and ancillaries to site and collect Generators and ancillaries from site.
- Assist engineers on site.
- Refueling Generators on site and in depot.
- Carry out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy.
- Installation and dismantle of Generators on customer sites.
- Completion of daily vehicle inspections and reporting defects to transport department.
- Completion and submission of all company paperwork as per procedure.
- Safeguard all Company assets; nothing leaves the depot without correct paperwork.
- Ensure company vehicle or occasional loan vehicle supplied, is kept clean and tidy at all times, serviced within manufacturer’s guideline, and ensure any defects are notified to correct parties and rectified in a timely manner.
Qualifications and education required:
- Fork Lift Truck Licence (Desired but full training given)
- Apprenticeship in Engineering
- C&G qualifications.
- Electrical skills / Qualifications would be an advantage.
