Generator Power is committed to supporting the Government, local councils and blue light services in the fight against Coronavirus.
Most recently, our team deployed a Twin Pack Powersafe generator to improve communication coverage at the NHS Nightingale Hospital in London.
The Nightingale Hospital is the UK’s first field hospital dedicated to helping those in need due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The temporary hospital, based at the ExCel Centre in London, was constructed in one week and will treat up to 4,000 patients.
With efficient response time and expert project management, our team supplied and installed a Twin Pack Powersafe generator within a short timeframe. Our generator will be used to provide power to a temporary communication mast at the Nightingale Hospital.
In addition to supplying power, our generator will also help to increase air connection coverage, enabling key workers, such as hospital staff, doctors and medical experts to coordinate operations in preparation for receiving patients.
From remote working to cross-training employees, we’ve implemented processes and measures to ensure that we can operate effectively, efficiently and safely during these challenging times. With this in mind, we will continue to prioritise essential work for blue light services, telecommunications and utilities (power and water) customers to ensure minimal disruption and help support the fight against Coronavirus.
Throughout this period of uncertainty, please remember we’re available on 0845 601 2187 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to assist with any power related emergencies. Alternatively, if you have an upcoming project you’d like to discuss with our team, please get in touch.
