We are happy to be supporting the Cancer Research Relay for Life Jarrow at Monkton Stadium, Jarrow on 16th July for what will be their 10th year running the event.
Cancer Research UK have saved millions of lives through their valuable research into discovering new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer – and every year, the Relay for Life brings communities together to raise money for Cancer Research UK and help find a way to beat cancer.
On the day of the event, all members in the participating teams will take turns to walk around the track, whilst everyone enjoys a celebration of music, games and live entertainment.
We are pleased to be supporting this amazing event by providing one of our generators to power the mobile stage so the live acts can entertain everyone participating throughout the night.
We have supported the Relay for Life for a number of years now and are pleased to be continuing this support into their 10th year.
This year, Relay for Life Jarrow are aiming to raise £100,000 for Cancer Research UK, and are off to a fantastic start, having raised £36,880 already.
