We’ve got a busy July schedule ahead of us here at Generator Power. The summer diary is filling up fast, last weekend our hire teams were headlining at Glastonbury, plus we had engineers at Lord March’s stately home in Goodwood for The Festival of Speed, and this forthcoming weekend is going to be just as hectic.
At these types of events we provide support to the Telecomms industry, our generators provide power for temporary phone network masts, they help keep people in touch with their friends and family, whilst they enjoy themselves at a variety of outdoor occasions.
Without temporary power solutions, many of the UK’s major attractions would find it hard to cope with the demand, we provide power that keeps major events going, and this helps them to be a success.
To give you an indication of the kinds of occasions you can look forward to this month, our engineers will be hard at work at all of these popular visitor attractions.
Silverstone F1
3rd to 5th July 2015
Silverstone is the UK’s premier motor racing circuit and it’s also home to the British Grand Prix. This event takes place over the weekend of 3rd to 5th July, with practice on Friday, qualifying on Saturday, and the race to the finish on Sunday. Will you be cheering Lewis Hamilton on this weekend?
Royal International Air Tattoo
17th to 19th July 2015
Classed as the world’s greatest airshow, the Air Tattoo provides 7.5 hours of flying displays for visitors, and it’s the perfect show to visit for anyone that is passionate about planes. Jenson Button described it as F1 in the sky, which sums the event up nicely!
Royal Welsh Show
20th to 23rd July 2015
This is classed as the showcase for Welsh livestock, and it’s also pays homage to quality food and drink produced in Wales. There are tons of activities to keep visitors amused over the three day event including forestry, horticulture, crafts and sports, offering 12 hours of entertainment each day.
These are just some of the events we’ll be supporting during the month of July. Keep an eye out for our field teams if you are visiting any of these attractions, and if you need emergency power for a future event, feel free to contact us at anytime.
