Generator Power celebrates 20 years
Generator Power Ltd, the Yorkshire based generator hire and purchase specialists are celebrating a very successful 20 years in business this month.
Stephen Cardwell, the founder and Managing Director of Generator Power Ltd started the business as a ‘new start’ company on 1st November 1997.
At the beginning the company had two members of staff and a business plan to put 42 Atlas Copco generators on its fleet for the first business year.
Stephen Cardwell said ‘We have come a long way in 20 years and it has been a great pleasure to nurture and watch the business to become the UK’s largest Generator rental companies. This a very proud moment for me. Here’s to the next 20 years’.
‘The company now employs over 200 members of staff operating nationally from a network of 9 depot locations with an impressive turnover of £37m’.
