Regular visitors to our news page might remember Steve Cardwell, Simon Ferguson and Andy Clark taking part in a charity bike ride from Leeds to Paris last year. They covered 266 miles and had to endure horrendous weather to complete the epic three day journey.
Guess what?
We’ve just handed a cheque to Chloe from Cancer Research for a massive £7, 355.00.
The gruelling challenge certainly pushed our boys’ fitness to the limit, they cycled far and fast to help Cancer Research in their worthy cause.
It was worth it though, our intrepid trio might have endured saddle sores and there’s no question the Arc de Triomphe was a welcome sight at the end of journey, but we raised badly needed funds to support people with cancer and their families too.
Whilst Chloe was at Generator Power Simon grasped the opportunity to present Steve with a framed shirt from the trip and Jeremy mounted a set of handle bars to a plaque so the guys will never forget their exploits.
Well done team, our staff like to support charities when they can as well as providing emergency power to customers in need.
