February marks the start of the 2025 rugby super league season with teams competing from across the country in hopes of being crowned Super League Champions. The Super League is the top flight of the British rugby league system and is held every year, and has been for the last 29 years since being established in 1996.
We are happily joining the roster of sponsors supporting local team, the Castleford Tigers, as the match ball sponsor.
Who are the Castleford Tigers?
The Castleford Tigers are a professional rugby league club based in Castleford, West Yorkshire. The Tigers make their home at the Wheldon Road rugby ground (also known as The Jungle) which was opened in 1926 and has a capacity of 10,500. The Castleford Tigers Club were a successful juniors club before joining professional rugby league in 1926. The Tigers have grown into one of the most famous Rugby League Clubs in the United Kingdom, consistently producing players who have achieved world wide status, with many featuring at an international level.
The Castleford Tigers are one of 12 founding teams of the Super League.
The Castleford Tigers were taken over by long time Tigers fan and owner of Ergo Real Estate, Martin Jepson in October 2024.
